Hi, I’m Nikki! I married my college sweetheart, Aziz, and together we’re raising our daughter—plus our two cats, who were our first babies.We started IVF to avoid passing on a gene for muscular dystrophy, and I’ve since been through 3 egg retrievals, 2 failed embryo transfers, and an early miscarriage. I’ve shared that journey openly on my YouTube Channel to help others feel more supported and less alone.With Embraya, I’m channeling both my personal experience and my professional background. I’ve spent the past decade building products and roadmaps that make complex systems easier to navigate—and now I’m applying that same approach to one of the most important journeys of my life. From simplifying how you get your schedule into the app to making notifications smarter and more flexible, my goal is to make Embraya feel like a true partner in your fertility care. There’s a much bigger vision ahead, and I’m excited to build it—because I know firsthand how much better this experience can be.

Hi, I’m Amber—co-founder of Embraya, mom to two miracle babies, and someone who has lived every overwhelming, confusing, and emotional twist of the IVF journey.My path to motherhood started with a diagnosis of blocked tubes and male factor infertility. IVF wasn’t a choice—it was the only way forward. I went through two egg retrievals and two full IVF cycles. Both resulted in pregnancies, but neither came without complications. My first cycle I had a bad reaction to the intramuscular shots that later resulted in needing surgery. I also ended my pregnancy with polyhydroamino and postpartum developed postpartum preeclampsia. My second pregnancy meant switching medications to avoid those same risks. That kind of complexity is rarely talked about—but it’s so real.This journey doesn’t end with a positive pregnancy test. IVF pregnancies can come with added risks. The postpartum period can feel different too—physically, emotionally, and mentally. That’s why Embraya isn’t just built to support the cycle itself. It’s built to walk with you before, during, and long after.My heart is in the details—making sure this app actually helps. Embraya is the tool I desperately needed—something that could track meds, remind me to ask the right questions, and hold space for all the feelings IVF brings. We’re building it for every person who feels like they have to be a superhuman spreadsheet just to survive treatment. You don’t. You deserve better.And that’s what we’re creating. Because I’ve been there. And I’ll never forget what it felt like.
